Incoming international Ph.D. students will be eligible to apply for a Philomathia supported Trillium Scholarship.  The scholarship is worth CAD$40,000 per year for 4 years and will be awarded to an incoming student at McMaster University undertaking studies in water policy or water-based research.

Preference will be given to students who are also accepted into the Water Without Borders collaborative program.  The scholarship recipient will be given preference for the Philomathia Travel Scholarship in Water Policy and Research to support travel to Kenya, India and other locations identified with the Philomathia project.

Application for general McMaster Trillium scholarships requires an offer (conditional or full) to a Ph.D. program at McMaster University.  Eligible applicants with a conditional offer to join the Water Without Borders programme will be forwarded by UNU-INWEH for consideration in the competition for the Philomathia supported Trillium scholarship.
